If nothing else, this is one of the most well created demo in terms of packaging. The cd contains a full presentation of the band in sections as if you entered their official internet page containing lyrics and their professional photo shooting while listening to their music. Well done boys! Musically speaking this Russian trio (that sounded nice…) moves in modern death metal paths, which means that they play in an aggressive and melodic way using clean vocals in the choruses. The last thing is the only one that doesn’t seem to fit because it sounds childish, trendy and simply because brutal vocals go better with what they play! Although they follow a path that has become overcrowded the past years they sound really interesting and fresh. The production of the demo is professional, so if you like all the current Swedish masters of modern death you will like the youngsters from St. Petersburg. F.R.Y is a band to be signed and to be heard widely.
